Poly Polar is the softest/most comfortable co-poly string currently available and it comes in an ultra cool blue color. It is an ideal option for frequent string breakers who do not want to experience the harsh feel associated with poly and co-poly strings.

Construction: A German Engineered and produced co-poly string. Monofilament polyester with minute metallic particles.

Why we carry this string: Simply because it is the best value co-poly string we have found. Comfort, durability and solid tension maintenance make this string a solid all-around performer.

Tension Loss Measurements: There have been reports of earlier versions of this string losing tension quickly. Our playtests reveal different data. In measuring the Dynamic Tension (DT) immediately after stringing in our Yonex RD ti 80 we came up with a measurement of DT = 38 and the string tension was showing at 61. We measure tension using an ERT 700 Tennis Computer. The next day (24 hours) after stringing the DT dropped to 37 with a string tension reading of 59. An overnight drop in tension of approximately 3%. (An impressive result for any string, but surprisngly impressive for this poly that had previously been tabbed by some as a tension losing string.) 5 days later the readings, after additional court time, the readings remained constant. 13 days after stringing the readings dropped again. This time the DT was showing as 35 with a string tension reading of 57. This represents a drop in tension of approximately 7 - 8%. 18 days after the original stringing the readings remained with a DT of 35 and string tension reading of 57. IMPRESSIVE!!!
