 Recoil strings realign after each hit, creating
consistent, long lasting performance and superior playability. Construction: Solid core with multi wraps utilizing Gore MicroWeb Technology (ePTFE = expanded polyTetrafluoroethylene) for an ultra low friction surface. Advantage: Crisp play and strings stay in proper alignment. Gauge: 16ga Length: 40 Color: White Why we carry this string: Yes, the cost is stratospheric for a synthetic string, but the production cost of this string is extremely high and we are simply passing the cost along to our customers (we would sell it for less if we could!) Still, we have customers who will not tolerate strings being misaligned and are unable to play with stiffer poly-based strings (which also stay in place). This string is the answer. Holds tension VERY, VERY well and if you are not prone to breaking strings (ie not hitting with excessive spin), this string should give you a very long period of excellent playability.
