There are several hybrids we use with great success.  We have had some customers send us email messages to tell us how well the MSV Focus pairs with natural gut mains.  We have tried and it concur.  This hybrid is pretty special.  What is your favorite MSV hybrid?

From what I've heard, gut/Co.-Focus is the best by far, but I've never tried it personally. Actually, that hybrid is the reason for my question: How does the power, control, and tension maintenance of a Co.-Focus cross compare to a Scorpion cross? Probably won't try it since I have a bunch of Scorpion right now, but I'm just wondering…

Anyone have any suggestions for Hybrid set up with Hepa Twist in the mains? Looking for set up that wouldnt be too hard on the arm. I wasnt sure if using a multifilament would be ideal or that the Hepa Twist would eat it up pretty quickly.

We would definitely stay away from a multi in hybrid with HeptaTwist.  What tension are you using?  A full setup at a low tension is a good option.  If you want to go with a synthetic, try a soft solid core like PSG or L-TEC Flex.  Natural gut is also an option you may enjoy in hybrid with HeptaTwist.

You could try full poly setup in the low to mid 40's and perhaps even lower for comfort.

I ended up trying it after all. It wasn't as comfortable as I had hoped and the control dip was more than I gained in power.
